Instagram has reached a milestone of having 80 million users world wide. However, the image sharing company, which is now owned by Facebook, released an update today which removes Twitter API access.

The company claims that "Twitter no longer allows its users to access this information in Instagram via the Twitter API."

Users can still post their images to Twitter, however the find friends feature is no longer working.

We're excited to announce that the Instagram community has grown to over 80 million registered users who have shared nearly 4 billion photos! Since we launched Instagram in October 2010, we've expanded from one platform to two, bringing Instagram to Android users as well as iOS users.

What's New in Version 2.5.1
- Bug fixes
- New Flickr authentication support
