A Chinese woman was tasered after attempting to purchase too many iPhones from the Apple Store in Nashua, New Hampshire.

The video of a tiny 44-year-old Chinese woman being held to the ground and tasered by two police officers surfaced on YouTube yesterday.

Apparently, Xiaojie Li had purchased two iPhone 5s at the Apple Store in Pheasant Lane Mall last Friday. She attempted to purchase more but was told that she'd reached the two per customer limit. When she tried to video what she thought were other customers that had bought more than two units she was asked to leave.

On Tuesday, she returned to the Apple Store to pick up an additional two units ordered online. Apple employees refused to sell the devices to her and she was asked by the manager to leave. Li apparently refused to leave and the manager asked a police officer assigned to mall security to escort her out.

"The officer approached her, told her she wasn't welcome in the store, and she refused to leave," said Nashua police captain Bruce Hansen.

Li was carrying about $16,000 in cash when arrested and claimed to be buying phones for relatives in China. She was charged with two misdemeanors - criminal trespass and resisting arrest.

Even if Li was reselling iPhones and resisting arrest, the use of potentially life threatening force by two male police officers in order to handcuff a tiny unarmed woman appears to be a clear use of excessive force.
