Apple is rushing to release an update to iOS 6.1 after carriers warned customers not to update due to a bug that affects 3G performance, reports iFun.

The site's source who provided them with correct information in the past, says that carrier testing has been completed on a software update weighing in at 23MB.

"Today, on 11 February, midnight our time, "Testing Complete" is announced by the network operators. If you have already installed the 6.1 update is 23MB big on 6.1.1 (10B145) available via OTA. Baseband has been updated on 03/04/02. Thus, the error should be off the table."

Apple already seeded developers with a beta of iOS 6.1.1; however, iFun reports that we could see the final build within a week.

Notably, AOL has identified another bug with iOS 6.1 that's forced them to disable meeting management for all mobile devices.
