The Double teleconferencing robot is now available for immediate delivery when purchased from the Online Apple Store, according to an announcement from Double Robotics, Inc.

Double, the brainchild of David Cann and Marc DeVidts, is a remotely controlled, mobile teleconferencing system that enables conversations to happen anytime and anywhere in the world. Traditional videoconferencing relies on scheduling meetings and a physical body manually setting up a laptop on the remote communicator’s behalf. Having your own Double in the office means you are free to roam around anywhere without needing to schedule a meeting.
