Apple Increases Orders for Retina Display iPad Mini to 4 Million Units in November?

Apple has reportedly increased its November orders for the Retina Display iPad mini to nearly four million units, as production bottlenecks ease up, reports DigiTimes.

Currently, Apple's orders for the iPad mini with Retina have already surpassed those for the first-generation iPad mini, the sources noted. As for the iPad Air, because the supply chain had a longer preparation time, the device is seeing much more stable supply compared to previous-generation devices when launched, the sources said.

The report notes that tight supplies of the new iPad mini were to shortages of its Retina display. Manufacturing the smaller 7-inch Retina display is more difficult than the 9.7-inch one.
