Highlight, an app that finds people nearby, has been updated with a new iOS 7 design, a real-time map of people around you, and more.

Who's nearby? Highlight is a fun, simple way to learn more about the people around you. If someone standing near you also has Highlight, their profile will show up on your phone. You can see their name, photos of them, mutual friends, and anything else they have chosen to share.

Features:
When you meet someone, Highlight helps you see what you have in common with them. And when you forget their name at a party a week later, Highlight can help you remember it.

As you go about your day, Highlight runs quietly in the background, surfacing information about the people around you. If your friends are nearby, it will notify you. If someone interesting crosses your path, it will tell you more about them.

Highlight gives you a sixth sense about the world around you, showing you hidden connections and making your day more fun.

What's New In This Version:
We are excited to introduce Highlight 2.0 - the next generation of Highlight. It’s smarter, easier on your battery, and redesigned from top to bottom.

• Real-time. Highlight 2.0 gives you a 10,000 foot view of the world, with a live, 3D map of the people around you. See that your friend Steve is biking in the Presidio, that 2 of your coworkers are walking down 5th St. together, or that the girl across the room with headphones on is listening to the new Destroyer album. We figure it out automatically for you using the sensors in the phone. Crazy!

• Much smarter. Our new relevance service crunches the numbers to surface the most interesting people in your feed and notifications - like people from your hometown, folks who know your sister, or old friends who happen to be in your city.

• Only what’s new. When you walk past someone, Highlight will show you what’s new with them since the last time you saw each other - including photos they’ve Instagrammed and links they’ve shared on Twitter while walking around town.

• Lower power. Highlight 2.0 is ~5x easier on your battery than Highlight 1.0.

• Polished all around. The new Highlight is more alive than ever before, with a visual layout that brings people front and center. It’s also bouncy, which is super fun.

You can download Highlight from the App Store for free.
