Dropbox has announced a private beta of Mailbox for Mac and launched Mailbox for Android featuring a new Auto-Swipe service.

Auto-Swipe:
Auto-Swipe is a new service built directly into Mailbox that learns from your swipes and snoozes to automate common actions. Mute that thread you don’t care about, snooze messages from your friends until after work, and route receipts to a list — automatically.

Starting today, Mailbox uses Dropbox to sync preferences and Auto-swipe patterns across email accounts and devices giving you a seamless experience no matter which device or email account you use.

Mailbox for Mac:
Mailbox for Mac has been a "labor of love" for the Mailbox team. It’s described as a product of painstaking iteration (over, and over, and over) to build the lightest, fastest, most delightful desktop mail client ever. Demoed at the Dropbox press event, Mailbox for Mac is now available in private beta.

Dropbox says it will add people to the beta as quickly as it can. You can sign up to get on the list here.
