Check out this concept for a redesign of the Finder 'Get Info' window by Ramotion.

Everyone who has ever worked on MacOS has felt this pain at least once. You select a couple files, right click, open the menu, and tap Get Info... And there is a moment when even an Apple evangelist would start hating Mac OS. When it happened to us yet again, we decided it's time for a change.

The easiest thing to do would be to switch the Command+Alt+I hotkey and right mouse button actions. It's a much rarer scanario when you need to open 40 separate windows to compare each of them.

Ramotion proposes a Get Info window with logical groups and targeted information. For example, the Get Info window for an image might display format, size, resolution, color space. A music file would show format, size, duration, bitrate. Of course, selecting multiple files and clicking Get Info would show the amount of selected files and their size.

Take a look at their design and let us know what you think in the comments!
