Staples Starts Accepting Apple Pay in U.S. Retail Stores

Staples has started accepting Apple Pay at its retail stores across the United States, according to information provided to MacRumors.

"Staples now offers its customers access to Apple Pay, a new service that will transform mobile payments with an easy, secure and private way to pay. In Staples over 1,400 stores in the United States, Apple Pay works with iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and Apple Watch, upon availability."

Staples has also integrated Apple Pay into its new Staples iOS 8 app experience, with functionality available for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

“Our customers will love the convenience of Apple Pay, which will offer an easier, faster and secure way to check-out at Staples,” said Faisal Masud, executive vice president, global e-commerce, Staples Inc. “Staples planned launch of Apple Pay is the most recent example of our commitment to innovation that helps our customers make more happen with their business.”
