Apple has confirmed that the battery in the Apple Watch will be replaceable, reports TechCrunch. Under normal use the battery is expected to have a lifecycle of around three years.

Well, when it comes to the battery at least, owners of Apple Watch will be able to extend its lifespan. An Apple spokesman confirmed to TechCrunch the “battery is replaceable”. Apple recently detailed the expected battery life of the Apple Watch under various conditions. You can fine their estimates here.

The company wouldn't comment on whether any other components of the smart watch, such as CPU or RAM, would be upgradeable.
