MAGZET is a Kickstarter project that looks to bring MagSafe-like functionality to the audio jack.
The MAGZET consists of a MAGkap and MAGjack. The MAGkap is attached to the end of your headphones cable and the MAGjack is inserted into the headphone jack of your device. Using magnetic technology the MAGkap snaps together with the MAGjack. If your headphones cable accidentally gets yanked, the magnets will come apart.
Notably, the MAGZET is compatible with the controls on your headphones allowing for mic, volume, and track control. It also keeps the same audio quality.
