Twitter is working with Apple to add Twitter content and accounts into Apple's Spotlight search feature.

Twitter CEO Dick Costolo revealed the news on the company's quarterly earnings call yesterday, reports MacWorld.

Spotlight can be used to search for things like apps, documents, images and other files. In OS X Yosemite, Spotlight suggestions offer additional results like Wikipedia, news sites, Maps, iTunes, movie listings, and more.

Notably, Twitter recently struck a deal with Google to have tweets included in its search results. Users should start seeing that next month.

Apple and Twitter representatives did not respond to requests for comment but we'll let you know if any more information becomes available.
