Snapchat is now locking the accounts of users who have installed jailbreak tweaks that modify the photo sharing app.
Users are presented with a message that reads:
Oh no! Your account has been locked. Please uninstall any plugins you may have installed and visit https://www.snapchat.com/unlock
Users of Phantom, a popular Snapchat tweak, are all affected. Let us know which tweak you're using and if your account has been locked in the comments. CokePokes, the developer of Phantom says he is looking into the matter.
Update: Snapchat's official twitter account tweeted that Snapchat will not work on jailbroken devices. The tweet has since been removed. Some users are reporting that they are able to login to Snapchat after removing or disabling their third-party plugins/tweaks.
