The iPhone 6s camera has been reviewed by DxO and although it performs well, Apple hasn't managed to increase the camera's DxOMark score.

DxOMark is an industry standard for camera and lens image quality measurements and ratings. To calculate the score, ISO sensitivity, Noise, Color sensitivity, Sharpness, Distortion, Light transmission, Vignetting, and Lateral Chromatic Aberration are examined.

For the iPhone 6s, Apple equipped the rearward iSight camera with the same lens and field of view as the iPhone 6, but it features a new 12-Mpix, BSI 1/3”- type sensor and the ability to record 4K video.

● Cons: Some luminance noise visible, especially in low light, Some color shading visible in indoor conditions, Slightly yellow cast visible in outdoor conditions, Occasional ghosting and other artifacts.
