Apple is still working to increase its music library matching limit to 100,000 tracks and hopes to have the increase in place by the end of the year, reports MacRumors.

Currently, iTunes Match and Apple Music matching will let you store up to 25,000 tracks in the cloud for access from your other devices.

Back in June, Apple SVP Eddy Cue announced that the company was working to get to 100,000 for iOS 9. Unfortunately, it's still not available so MacRumors contacted Cue for an update.

In an effort to answer that question, MacRumors asked Cue for an update on the limit increase, and he tells us Apple is "definitely working on it" and that he expects it will be released "before the end of the year."
