Apple will begin selling accessibility related accessories in early 2016, according to a Macotakara report.

Apple has been actively engaged in support activities such as its full backup for the international "NDIS New World Conference 2015," which was held in Australia during October 27-29, 2015. Apple considers diversity important and hopes to make its products more accessible to the handicapped by making accessories for the handicapped available at Apple Store.

Notably, Apple has already been active in the Accessibility community. At the NDIS New World Conference in Australia this past October the company erected the Apple Accessible House, a purpose-built interactive exhibit designed to showcase the latest accessible technologies. Split into five zones, the house demonstrates how assistive devices, apps and accessories can help you do more around the home and office.

"Apple Ambassadors will be on hand to explain how these technologies can transform the experience of a person who has accessibility needs. This is a must-see exhibit for people who are low vision, blind, hearing impaired, physically impaired, intellectually impaired, or simply interested in how to create a connected home. Occupational therapists, optometrists and mobility instructors will also find it of great interest."

Perhaps Apple plans to bring elements of that exhibit into its retail stores. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.
