Quicken has announced that it plans to double the engineering team working on its Mac software. Intuit sold the personal finance application to H.I.G. Capital last week and the investment group already has plans to improve the program for users.

"On the Mac team, we’re bringing in a new product manager starting this coming Monday," said Quicken head Eric Dunn. "We have plans within the calendar year to double the engineering team, so we can do the work we need to do to bring Mac closer to the feature set of Windows over the next quarters and years."

Dunn also said that they plan to do some work on the fit and finish, the polish, the usability, resilience, and reliability. Part of the roadmap also includes improving cloud services.

Take a look at the video below for more details. You can purchase Quicken for Mac 2016 for $52.99.
