Screenshots of a new Mac OS X dock icon and menu bar icon for Siri have been leaked to MacRumors by a source who has provided accurate information in the past.

Apple is expected to unveil OS X 10.12 at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June and Siri for Mac has been a rumored new feature.

The menu bar icon is simply the word Siri within a rectangular box. The dock icon is a circle that contains the colorful Siri waveform.

Clicking on either of the icons brings up a Siri waveform to give users a visual cue that the virtual assistant is listening for commands, much like on iOS devices when the Home button is held down.

Additionally, Siri can reportedly be enabled hands-free with 'Hey Siri' but that option is disabled by default. It can be turned on in the Preferences menu.

Presumably, Siri for Mac will operate much like it does on iOS with the ability to open apps, conduct web searches, control HomeKit, send messages, read emails, and more.
