Jawbone has reportedly stopped production of UP fitness trackers and sold its remaining inventory to a third party. Additionally, the company is said to have discontinued its lineup of Bluetooth speakers and is trying to sell its speaker business.

Tech Insider reported that the company had stopped production of its UP fitness trackers earlier today.

"To be clear (since some people are interpreting this report incorrectly), Jawbone is not exiting the wearables business. You can still buy the UP fitness trackers. Jawbone just sold its remaining inventory to a third-party reseller."

Additionally, the sources told the site that Jawbone has also discontinued its speaker business. Fortune followed up this report with news that Jawbone has put its speaker business up for sale.

The company has been pitching potential buyers for its Jambox wireless speaker business so it can focus exclusively on its health and wearables business. At the same time, Jawbone has been working with third-party distributors to liquidate its remaining speakers in retail outlets, one source said.

While it might seem as though the company is giving up, The Verge reports that Jawbone has Hail Mary health product in the works.

The new Jawbone wearable will not be a fitness tracker, but is supposed to offer clinical-grade health tracking related to heart monitoring. It's unclear whether the new device will include the Up branding, these sources say, which may also be why previous reports suggest "Up" is going away.

Jawbone is expected to announce the product later this summer but it's unclear when it would ship.
