Wistron has landed orders for the new Apple OLED Touch Bar after the original supplier failed to meet the company's demand, reports the Economic Daily News via DigiTimes.
The market watchers pointed out that the keyboard is rather difficult to build and its original Singapore-based supplier was having difficulties meeting Apple's demand prompting Apple to shift orders to Wistron, the paper noted.
Sources say the delay in launching the MacBook Pro was partly due to low yields and as yields improve shipments are picking up.
