Following a recent update that brings Hands-Free mode to the Amazon Tap, Alexa has been updated with support for Outlook.com calendars, reports The Verge.

Previously, Alexa only supported Google calendars but Amazon silently added Outlook.com calendar support this week. You can use Alexa to add or review events by saying 'What's on my calendar?' or 'Add an event to my calendar'.

Notably, the Amazon Tap was recently updated with support for Hands-Free mode. This makes the device function more similarly to its big brother, the Amazon Echo. The portable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled speaker originally required the press of a microphone button to access Alexa. Hands-free mode can be enabled through the Alexa mobile app. The device must be connected to WiFi.

If you have more than one Amazon Tap, the closest one will respond using a feature called 'echo spatial perception'.

You can purchase an Amazon Tap for $129.99 from the link below...
