TSMC says it will make a decision on building a U.S. manufacturing plant next year, according to Reuters.

TSMC is said to be considering a T$500 billion ($16.41 billion) investment for the plant. It's also reportedly partnering with Foxconn on a bid for Toshiba's memory business.
