Zevrix Solutions has announced File Courier 1.0, a new digital delivery solution with advanced time-saving options. File Courier delivers files and folders to FTP and local destinations and sends automatic e-mail notifications upon delivery.

File Courier is designed to automate and simplify the process of preparing, sending and confirming delivery to free up users from time consuming, tedious manual tasks which can also lead to mistakes and miscommunication between a sender and a recipient. With File Courier, users only need to drop a file or a folder on the program's icon, and the rest will be done automatically:

* Compress files and folders with .zip or .dmg compression and protect disk images with password.

* Send files to a pre-defined FTP or local destination. Users can create unlimited number of destinations with customizable delivery options.

* Send automatic e-mail notification with the detailed info about the file and its location. The messages are based on powerful variable templates which allow recipients to retrieve the files just by clicking a link in the notification e-mail.

* Attach job preview to e-mail automatically. If you send a PDF file, File Courier can create its lo-res version and attach it to e-mail. And if you send a folder - for example, a collected InDesign job - File Courier can attach files from a specific subfolder where you can store lo-res PDFs and job instructions.

File Courier also lets users deliver files by e-mail only, test FTP locations to ensure the info is entered correctly, and provides the detailed log of all deliveries as well as the detailed feedback on all processing stages.

Pricing and Availability:
File Courier 1.0 can be purchased from the Zevrix website for the introductory price of $29.95 USD, as well as from authorized resellers. Trial version is also available for download. File Courier is a Universal Binary and available for Mac OS X 10.4.2-10.6.
