Apple is expanding its Apple Music student memberships to 82 additional countries.
iMore's Rene Ritchie announced the expansion in a recent tweet:
82 new regions (79 today, 3 more on Feb. 26) are adding Apple Music student memberships this month, including Israel, Malaysia, the Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Taiwan.
In the United States, an Apple Music student membership costs half ($4.99/month) the price of a regular membership ($9.99/month). When you join Apple Music as a student, UNiDAYS, a student validation service, confirms that you're enrolled in a degree-granting university or college
