Apple has been ranked 71st on Glassdoor's Best Places to Work 2019 list. That's up from 84th position in last year's list but far behind Facebook (7th), Google (8th), and Microsoft (34th).
Topping the list for the fourth time was Bain.
Bain has ranked #1 four times (2012, 2014, 2017, 2019) — making it the only employer to claim the top spot four times since the Best Places to Work award debuted in 2009 — and is up from the #2 spot last year. Founded in 1973, Bain currently operates 57 offices in 36 countries and offers its collective knowledge, experience and global network to its clients around the globe.
Glassdoor recognized a total of 100 companies in its 2019 Best Places to Work list for U.S. Large Employers (defined as more than 1,000 employees). It's also compiled Best Places to Work Lists for U.S. Small & Medium Companies (fewer than 1,000 employees).
