Apple has released macOS Mojave 10.14.5 beta 4 to developers for testing. The build number is 18F127a.

The build resolves an issue that might have prevented copy-protected video content from playing back correctly on iMac Pro and removes the Accessibility Events switch because "related aspects of the W3C AOM effort are no longer applicable". It also introduces support for the Reiwa era of the Japanese calendar.

New Features
● Support for the Reiwa (令和) era of the Japanese calendar, which begins on May 1, 2019, is now available. The first year of Japanese-calendar era is represented as “元年” (“Gannen”) instead of “1年”, except in the shorter numeric-style formats which typically also use the narrow era name; for example: “R1/05/01”.

● Kernel extensions signed after April 7th, 2019 must be notarized in order to load on macOS 10.14.5. (50016570)

This is the latest version of the macOS Mojave developer beta and is recommended for all Apple developers.

Developers can run the macOS Developer Beta Access Utility to download the latest macOS 10.14 beta. As new macOS betas become available you will receive a notification and can install them from the Software Updates panel in System Preferences.
