The most significant update for Flower Garden since its original launch back in April is now available on the App Store. An in-app Flower Shop provides in-app purchases for more seed types, extra pots, new garden space, and even fertilizer! More seeds and pots has been the most-requested feature by fans for many months. In particular, a seasonal seed pack, Seeds of Winter, is now available with eight winter-themed seeds, from festive Poinsettias to rare Eldeweiss.
The Flower Shop is available both in the Full and Free versions, and allows users of Flower Garden Free to get the same functionality as Flower Garden Full by purchasing three items (additional pots, common seeds, and bonus seeds). Flower Garden was one of the first apps to take advantage of in-app purchases in the free version to provide a direct upgrade path to the features of the full version.
Also new in this update is liquid plant fertilizer. Next time you find yourself in a hurry to grow some flowers for a particular occasion, you can speed up the growth by using fertilizer. A single dose of fertilizer will fast-forward the growth of a plant by a whole day, allowing you to grow expert-level flowers in a few hours.
