Apple will give students who subscribe to Apple Music access to the new Apple TV+ streaming service for free!

Hailee Steinfeld, star of Apple's upcoming Dickinson series, made the announcement on Instagram today.

"Hey guys! I am so excited! Apple is letting me share with you some very exciting news. So, for those of you who are students, with an Apple Music student subscription you can now get Apple TV+ for free. So this means that on November 1st, this Friday, you can watch all episodes of my new show Dickinson, you can listen to my new song Afterlife and all songs and watch all of the amazing shows and films that are coming to you on Apple TV+ November 1st. I'm so excited! I can't wait to hear what you guys think!"

A student subscription to Apple Music costs $4.99/month so this is a pretty good deal. At full price, Apple Music costs $9.99/month and Apple TV+ costs $4.99/month.

Notably, Apple is also offering a free year of Apple TV+ to users who have purchased a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac or iPod touch after September 10, 2019.
