Three new iPhone battery models have appeared on certification platforms UL Demko, Safety Korea, and 3C, reports MySmartPrice.

The new batteries are model numbers A2471, A2431, and A2466. Apple is rumored to be releasing four new iPhone models this year, two of which are said to feature 6.1-inch displays. The site suggests that these two models could share the same battery.

● Apple iPhone 12 (5.4-inch) – A2471 – 2227mAh
● Apple iPhone 12 Max (6.1-inch) – A2431 – 2775mAh
● Apple iPhone 12 Pro (6.1-inch) – A2431 – 2775mAh
● Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max (6.7-inch) – A2466 – 3687mAh

For comparison, the 6.1-inch iPhone 11 has a 3110mAh battery, the 5.8-inch iPhone 11 Pro has a 3190mAh battery and the 6.5-inch iPhone 11 Pro Max has a 3500mAh battery. This suggests the only next generation iPhone that will get a larger battery is the iPhone 12 Pro Max at 3687mAh.

Notably, MySmartPrice has also found 3C certifications for a new 5W charger and the 20W charger previously spotted.

Apart from the new battery models, we have also come across two new chargers for this year’s iPhone models. While one is a standard 5W charger with the model number A1443, the other is a new 20W charger with the model number A2244. The latter will be a first for the iPhone because, until now, the fastest charging speeds supported by iPhone models topped at 18W.
