These are instructions on how to check your iPhone warranty status.

Most Apple devices come with a one-year limited warranty and up to 90 days of complimentary technical support. To extend your coverage further, you can purchase AppleCare+.

iPhone Warranty Check

Step One

Launch the Settings app from your SpringBoard

Step Two

Tap General from the Settings menu, then tap About.

Step Three

Your iPhone's warranty status will be displayed just under your device's Serial number. You can tap to get further service coverage details including the expiration date, hardware coverage, and technical support.

Step Four

If you're still eligible to purchase AppleCare+, you can do so right from the About page.

Check Coverage Online

You can also check the warranty status of your Apple device online. We'll use the Settings app to obtain our iPhone's serial number, then check Apple's warranty status using the company's website.

Step One

Press and hold your Serial Number, then copy it to the clipboard.

Step Two

Launch Safari from your SpringBoard and navigate to checkcoverage.apple.com

Step Three

Paste your serial number into the entryfield, input the code displayed, then tap Continue. This website also works with other Apple devices like the Apple Watch, Apple TV, iPad, iPod Touch, etc.

Step Four

Use The Apple Support App

You can also get your warranty status using the Apple Support app. This app can be downloaded from the App Store here.

Use Your Apple ID

Finally, it's also possible to check your iPhone warranty status by navigating to mysupport.apple.com. Log in with your Apple ID to bring up a My Support page with a section entitled 'My Devices'.

Select your Apple device to bring up its device details then look under the Coverage tab to find your coverage details, Valid Purchase Date, and Telephone Technical Support status.
