Apple will complete its transition from Intel processors to Apple Silicon processors by the end of the year, according to leaker @dylandkt.

The final device to get updated will purportedly be the Mac Pro in Q4 2022.

The Apple Silicon transition will end by Q4 of 2022. The Mac Pro will be the last device to be replaced. The Mac Pro’s processor will not be an extension of the M2. The processor of the Mac Pro will instead be a further extension of the M1 beyond the cores of the M1 Max.

When asked if upcoming iMac Pro will also get a chip more powerful than the current M1 Max, Dylan said, "Yes I believe there will be at least one additional configuration. Being a desktop computer with no battery and a larger chasis for thermals, I imagine that Apple should offer a configuration quite a bit more powerful than the M1 Max on the upcoming iMac Pro."

In a separate leak, @dylandkt predicted that the 13-inch M1 MacBook Pro will be replaced with a 14-inch M2 MacBook Pro in the second half of this year.
