Cisco has announced that Apple AirPlay support is coming to Webex devices. This follows the announcement of Webex for iPad at WebexOne last October.
With AirPlay support coming to Webex devices including the Room, Desk, and Board series, users can now wirelessly connect with iPhone, iPad, and Mac to share content or mirror their screens in a meeting with colleagues — whether they’re together in a meeting room, or remote in a video call. Gone are the days of fumbling with cords or worrying about the connections.
The privacy and security built into Webex and AirPlay ensures users share to the correct screen with confidence. Administrators can enforce a simple and secure PIN challenge during setup, and can set it to appear each time a user attempts to share content.
Cisco says that the AirPlay sharing experience will be globally available on supported devices beginning in June 2022.
