Apple has seeded watchOS 9.1 Release Candidate 1 to developers for testing.
This update includes improvements for your Apple Watch.
Changes include the ability to reduce frequency of heart rate and GPS readings on Series 8 and Ultra Apple Watch models for extended battery life. Music downloads while off charger and support for Matter.
