Apple's next generation iPad Pro may come in both matte and glossy display versions, according to a new rumor from Instant Digital.

In a recent post on Weibo, the leaker confirmed a launch next week and revealed the new display options.

-----
1. Confirm the iPad *** launch next week.
2. The iPad *** comes in two versions: glossy and matte screen versions, with the matte version also known as the AG anti-glare screen. The haze level is 29, plus or minus 4. (This exclusive scoop is from Shana Digital)

I've only ever slipped up on iPad leaks. It's not just the readers who are unhappy; I'm even more so... To avoid another mishap, I won't mention the model this time because I'm not sure if the matte screen is available for all models or just the Pro [sadly].

Apparently, "One of the priorities is that the screen appears very soft and is not glaring." This may be useful to customers who use their iPad outside or in brightly lit areas.

Notably, the leaker also shared the bezel sizes for the iPad Pro...

For the 2024 iPad Pro, the bezel widths are reported as follows: the 11-inch version will have a bezel width of 7.12mm, and the 12.9-inch version will boast a slightly slimmer bezel at 7.08mm. This data, described as highly accurate, pertains specifically to the glass cover and does not include the metal frame.

The next generation iPad Pro with OLED display is now widely expected to launch next week; however, the tablet may not ship until sometime in April.
