Fake-A-Location 1.0 Released

Posted May 11, 2010 at 2:22pm by iClarified · 5949 views
Fake-A-Location allows users to pinpoint a place using Google Maps, and send it in a text or email message as their "current location." The precise street address, latitude and longitude, and included Google Maps link of the selected location will fool all but the most suspicious of recipients.

Users can impress their friends with their ability to be everywhere at once - relevant political events, big-ticket concerts, hip parties - all from the comfort of their own couch. Privacy proponents can escape the spotlight and keep interested parties off their tail. Husbands can drop by the bar to catch the last minutes of the football game under the guise of spending a little extra time at the supermarket. Senators can visit their mistresses in Argentina while claiming they are hiking along the Application Trail. Pretending to be elsewhere has never been easier.

Pricing and Availability:
Fake-A-Location 1.0 features the same easy-to-use interfaces and reliability found on other Excelltech favorites such as Fake-A-Call and Fake-A-Text. It is only $0.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Utilities category. It can also be downloaded free with ads at the iTunes app store.
