Apple Releases Updated Build of iOS 26 Beta 1 [Download]

Apple has released an updated build of iOS 26 beta 1 for developers. It's not yet clear if the update addresses the overheating issues some users have experienced after installing the initial beta. The new build number is 23A5260u, up from 23A5260n released on June 9, 2025.

iOS beta gives you an early preview of upcoming apps, features, and technologies. Please back up your iPhone before you install the beta.

Developers can download the new build at the link below. Alternatively, you can visit the Settings > General > Software Update page and choose iOS 26 Developer Beta from the Beta Updates row. Be warned that this first beta will likely be buggy. We'd recommend installing it on device dedicated to development.
