Updated Evasi0n 1.1 Jailbreak Utility Released

The Evad3rs have released an update to the Evasi0n jailbreak utility.

Planetbeing tweets:

evasi0n 1.1 has been released on the site with the latest fixes. You may have to clear your browser's cache to see it.

Note that you do not need to download evasi0n 1.1 if you've already jailbroken.

There is nothing in evasi0n 1.1 that is not already in Cydia.

You can find the links to download evasi0n here.

The update includes fixes which address issues with the Weather app and long rebooting times after jailbreaking. If you've already jailbroken you should not use evasi0n again; rather, follow these instructions to update your jailbreak.

If you haven't jailbroken yet, you can find the correct instructions for your device using the iClarified Jailbreak Wizard.

I fixed the issue by doing following steps 1) uninstall AppSync 2) reinstall UiKit (by clicking on modify) 3) restart mob. (i have iphone 5, IOS 6.1) 4) install AppSync back No more crashes on Weather application.

NOT GETTING CYDIA TO WORK IT JUST SHUTS OF THE CYDIA APP BRINGS IT BACK TO SPRINGBOARD ALSO NO ICON WHEN THE PROGRAM EVASION SAY THERE IS ONE TO TAP ONCE. TO JAIL BREAK

I Though i would never be saying this but it is beneficial to the jailbreak community that piracy is dying and fizzing out.It has affected not only app store developers but cydia developers too Jail-breakers have been sending the wrong message to the public and apple I feel that the period of reduced piracy will help apple and the jailbreak community grow together HOPE this is happening for a reason maybe apple will soon allow jailbreak as long as app store piracy is no more :YEAH I'm dreaming i know

I think but u got to check what ur insurance corevs. if software yes it will not cover if u jailbreak ur iphone but if ur insurance corevs hardware and components then most likely it will not be affected.

It worked for me..just remove appsync, let it respring then reboot the phone...NOT A HARD REBOOT..just hold down the power button...once rebooked weather should work and then you can reload appsync...worked for me!!

There is no use its not compatible with appsync time to remove jailbreak and buy apps fairly, lesson learnt.

I did mine on Win8 x64 and worked fine. Just remember to run as Administrator.

Planetbeing tweeted some additional info which i tried to get weather working again: remove appsync delete com.apple.mobile.installation.plist which can be found in var/mobile/library/caches reboot launch weather worked like a charm!!

Deleting the delete com.apple.mobile.installation.plis worked for me. Thanks for the info. Millions thanks to the Evasi0n team for making this the easiest JB I ever used. you made idiot proof.lol

It works, the secret is restarting, not rebooting: 1) Uninstall Appsync 2) Restart your device (Not hard restart, just turn it off and back on the normal way) 3) Weather app It should be working 4) Renstall Appsync, Appcake, etc.

after two days i have notice there are a message and receiving calls problems. i don't receive all sms or imessages, they are coming with a delay or dosn't come at all. and by receiving calls phone sometimes don't ring and the caller get a message that my phone is unreachable or turned off

I'm experiencing some times a black screen when I press the home button to close an application. It happened few times and with different apps such as whatsapp and apple store. I had to press the sleep button and unlock the phone in order to make it works. Does anybody having this problem?!

that's a problem with the actual app because it does not support io6.1 and has nothing to do with the jailbreak.

No appsync and no weather app, isn't this duppose to fix that issue. I don't reslly care cause I don't use the weather app, but it doesn't after the update

What can I do if after uninstall one of my apps from cydia he is gone?

You just reinstall it (from inside Cydia). Just use the search feature to find "AppSync" and install it. It'll be fine.
