The evad3rs have announced the release of evasi0n7 1.0.4 which brings important untether security fixes for the jailbreak of iOS 7.

evasi0n7 updated to 1.0.4 at http://evasi0n.com with important untether security fixes & (we hope) no more iPad mini Retina JB issues!

Existing JB users will receive the evasi0n7 1.0.4 untether security update through Cydia as soon as @saurik refreshes his repository!

i really need help... i have been trying to unlock my phone since 5 days now and its still not working and no one is emailing me twice a day..no cumstomer service at all..does anyone exactly know what i have to do and how i can unlock iphone5 now? can i call a number???

Try to remember what kind of tweak you installed before this issue appeared to you ... As for me sometimes AppSync is the cause of that, try installing appsync from other repo sources. Cheers

Updating through Cydia restored my phone and now has me stuck on the activation screen - ugh!

I'm at the point in the jb process to tab the evasi0n 7 icon, it opens to a white, blank screen, & quickly closes. I've retried this many times with the same results. Solution?

status bar work's fine when u jailbreak, but problem starts when u unpack cydia 1time u enter it... so it's not evad3rs problem but saurik's.

Yes, its updating cydia that causes safari and mail to crash. Do not update the following in cydia currently helps me: 1. evasi0n 7.x untether 2. gzip 3. UiKit Tools Not too keen to try any to narrow down. Restore and JB takes too much time for me.

Security fix…. does it break AppSync patch? My devices work fine now, should I completely reinstall everything just to get a newer jailbreak?

doesn't work with iPhone 4 16GB... upon installation I lose settings and many native apps and cydia icon doesn't show anymore

Friend, You have to update also AppSync 7+ from cydia, after that you will see all cracked apps installed before ;)

Hey, I had the same thing happen where Cydia wasn't showing up. Also, when I ran the jailbreak it wasn't totally completing. It would basically stop after the 2nd reboot. Before jailbreaking I had upgraded to iOS 7.0.4 from 6.xx. I tried the jailbreak 3 times and got the same result. So I synced my phone to itunes to get my apps back and then tried the jailbreak again and then it finished. I now have Cydia. Hope it works for you too.

Auto update from Saurik broke my iPad. What's more, I'm traveling and lost my laptop HD, so now I have no way to restore it. DO NOT UPDATE under ANY circumstances!!!!!!!

Safari won't open after this install/reboot. Removed it from cydia, reboot and still no safari. Reinstall, still no safari. Had to do a restore. iPad 2 7.04 Done with JB, what's the point?

When I hit the Jailbreak button I get the following message: "Failed to retrieve package info from the internet" VERY FRUSTRATING!!!
