To those who experience App crashes after Pangu jailbreak, go into Cydia - Sources - Edit/Add and type in cydia.iphonecake.com
when done search for "Complete PPSync Remover" install and reboot .. no more app crashed :)

You can also downgrade from 7.1.2 to 7.1.1
Anotther bug I've found while installing Byfont2
I've added a Proccino font.
It keeps crashing all the apps, all my apps wouldn't open
I thought it was a 7.1.2 wasn't working
Downgraded to 7.1.1 It works fine on both iOS
Thank you

iPhone 4, iOS 7.1.2, freshly restored in iTunes and subsequently jailbroken by Pangu 1.1: everything worked flawlessly. One observation during the jailbreak process: around when finishing the whole thing, iPhone showed a warning about very low storage space left -- even though there was about 10 GB empty space left after 7.1.2 restore. I guess most of the unsuccessful attempts are connected with storage space shortage during the jailbreak.

Will it work if I upgrade my iPhone? Or I should restore it?

Didn't work on iPhone 4s. It shows Pangu logo then restarts by itself. I've tried to restore 7.1.2 and redid it few times but still have the same problem. Anyone has the same problem?

Edit: I used the old version of Pangu 1.0 and it worked on 7.1.2, where Pangu 1.1 (English verison) didn't work. It caused phone to freeze with Pangu logo and restart.

Had to do the jailbreak a couple of times for it to work. Only after the third attempt pangu installed cydia. iPhone 5. iOS 7.1.2.

On iPhone 4 on 7.1.2, downloaded cydia at first but then after cydia prepared the filesystem it restarted with several native apps missing including the app store itself and cydia icon was replaced by pangu icon.

You only got part way through the installation procedure. You click on the Pangu icon and it starts loading the processes which install Cydia (and the Chinese pirate ware app). During the initial process, it removes the regular apps one at a time, but replaces them all later exactly as you had them before. It's a strange installation process.

Thank you very much. Does this mean that v1.1 installs the Chinese pirate app without your consult?

Keep trying and make sure you do not use a pass code to lock your iPhone. It worked for me after three attempts.

pangu / pancakeguru how to jailbreak - June 30, 2014 at 8:49pm
pangu also known as pancake guru app for idevices simply reheat your idevice and remove old syrup first then plugin to the pancake guru usb port and wait for your device to be reheated ...... make sure no old syrup is on device , do not test device for flavor at this point when the pancake guru aka pangu has finished your ihop/dennys order log will reflect this on your recent bill statement within your bank and you will be jailbroken at this point its advised to restore all old blueberrys strawberrys apples chocolate cream and bacon before adding syrup again if all esle fales please wash your idevice in luke warm water and baby shampo tearless only and try again
