Apple Warns Developers That 64-bit and iOS 8 Requirements Start Soon

Apple has warned developers that apps submitted to the App Store after February 1st will need to include 64-bit support and be built with the iOS 8 SDK.

As a reminder, beginning February 1, 2015 new iOS apps submitted to the App Store must include 64-bit support and be built with the iOS 8 SDK. To enable 64-bit in your project, we recommend using the default Xcode build setting of “Standard architectures” to build a single binary with both 32-bit and 64-bit code.

Apple announced the new requirements back in October 2014 so hopefully most developers have updated their apps already.

I am so tired of apps that I had prior on my iPhone 5s that now don't work or only a half F work on my 6 plus. Plus using speech to type sucks really bad on iOS 8 for some reason
