The Pangu Team has reportedly demonstrated a jailbreak of iOS 8.4.1 at the HackPwn2015 security conference.
A post to Weibo by HackPwn2015 confirms the report saying (Google Translated), "Pangu team known domestic security team, on-site break Apple's iOS8.4.1 system! ! !"
It's highly unlikely that Pangu will release their jailbreak with iOS 9 just around the corner. Hopefully the exploits used to jailbreak iOS 8.4.1 will remain usable with the final build of iOS 9.

It's not a fight between Apple vs Jailbreakers. But it's between Pangu vs Taig vs PP Jailbreak.

Why would they fight between themselves? They don't make any profit other than sponsors. They all just help Apple find exploits so Apple can learn to protect its users from hackers able to inject malware

Ha ha. There will be no Jailbreak for iOS 9. The game is over, friends.

You never know. Yes Apple rewrote iOS 9 from the grown up to make it more secure, but that doesn't mean anything for these hackers and finding exploits to run unsigned code on iOS 9, Apple would have to rewrite all the apps(millions of them) and redo iOS, and then it might be unjailbreakable. But for now, iOS 9 will be jail breakable

If the game really is over then the new Moto X, One Plus 2 Nexus 6, or Galaxy S6 edge will be my new daily driver. The only reason I've stayed with my iPhone as long as I have is because of jail breaking and being able to make my device my own. Especially with tweaks like Flux and NoSlowAnimations.

Truly an ignorant comment. You have obviously never used those other devices. If you had, you would know that the iDevices are far superior even without a jailbreak. Feel free to switch.

JB also opens up your IPhone to Malware and Security issues. Enhances are for those seeking something deferent than what is currently set. I've JB my Apple device since the beginning and the only benefit I seek is KoDI.

I wonder how the person who found out about this post on Weibo managed to monitor his sources in chinese. Does he randomly run every chinese script he came across online with google translate?

This guys cry for attention, in the good old days, hackers hold their exploits new version and even they waited until stable.

It's not easy to find exploits on ios. With talents like that, of course you are going to show it off to the world! It makes you proud that you did it and no one else could
