Early progress on porting Siri to the iPad has been made by jackoplane, reports JaibreakStory.
Jack's Siri on the iPad 1 isn't communicating with the Apple servers but as @stroughtonsmith told us, any iOS device could be spoofed to look like an iPhone 4S and communicate with Apple's servers. If nothing works, Siri's interface could be used to query google or TellMe.

I have nothing about jailbreaking but I think Siri requires more power and iPhone 4 is not enough. On the iPad side of it, Siri should work just fine on iPad 2.

Apple - this is really a no brainer! Release Siri for IPad 2 and iPhone 4 or expect a jailbrake-avalanche when this hack works. Or charge for Siri? I am sure people rather pay than jailbrake

Nice thinking Skaneby, there will surely be a jailbreak avalanche when it comes on iOS devices. The only reason they don't really release it for other devices is because if they did, only hardware was new in the iPhone 4S then, which would make Apple look bad, but Apple needs to understand if other products are compatible to run that software, let it run. Apple, all I have to say is prepare to fight over 2 million current jailbreakers! You know who will win: jailbreakers, not Apple!
