iPad 1 vs. iPad 2 vs. iPad 3: Boot Time [Video]

Check out this video comparing the boot times of the iPad 1 vs. iPad 2 vs. iPad 3 on iOS 5.1.

Please note the video is synced on the down click of the power button. The logos are supposed to appear at different times.


Surprisingly, the boot time has got slightly slower over each generation; however, Apple has added new hardware features with each new model. While we had the iPad 2 beating out the iPad 3 by about 3 seconds, CNET's tests have the iPad 2 beating the iPad 3 by a whopping 13 seconds.

Thats NOT TRUE.....I have tested it myself and iPad 3 boots in 21 Seconds only

Surprisingly I did and my iPad 3 did 25.03 segs. And something more, when I pushed the sleep buttom appeared instanly the apple.
