Judge Asks Apple and Samsung to Meet Yet Again in Hopes of Peace

Judge Lucy Koh has asked Apple and Samsung to meet again in hopes they might reach some sort of settlement, reports AllThingsD. "It's time for peace," said Koh.

"I see risk here for both sides if we go to a verdict," Judge Lucy Koh said on Wednesday. She said that if the companies were just seeking to show the world they both have intellectual property positions relative to tablets and smartphones then "message delivered."

Koh also noted that if the companies were looking for an external valuation of their portfolios they are getting that from trial courts worldwide.

The attorneys agreed to a telephone meeting between the two companies; however, their previous face to face meetings yielded nothing.
