Pod2g Urges Apple to Release iOS 6.1

Pod2g has chimed in to a series of tweets from jailbreak developers that suggests a publicly releasable jailbreak has been found but is just waiting for the release of iOS 6.1.

Yesterday, we reported that planetbeing had said, "Tons of progress the last few days. I think the future is looking bright for jailbreaking. :)"

Today, pod2g added, "Come on Apple. Release that 6.1 now! /cc @planetbeing @pimskeks @MuscleNerd"

This is the strongest evidence yet that the devs have found a jailbreak that can now be released to the public but are still waiting for the release of iOS 6.1 so as not to burn an exploit. There would be no point in releasing a jailbreak at this time for a firmware version that will be updated in just a few days.

What a relief! I don't know about you guys, but I have been a very loyal iPhone fan for many years. I own a phone and have even camped out for the 5. Was beginning to think it was time to go the Droid route ( may still) Apple seems to have lost track of who its real customers are. Building a new smaller cord... great! Encrypting it??? Cost me about a hundred bucks to have a cord at work a cord in the car and a travel cord. Congrats apple you finally figured out how to make it hard on the jail break community.... but guess what I won't be buying another phone from you until it is fully jail broken. Way to piss off a reluctant fan boy.... your move.

Does anybody know when the iOS 6.1 is released yet and what day date and time plus apple sereously needs a apple inti virus built in all iOS devices because most people are complaining about their apps freezing crashing and shutting off.

@Japbuster ;-) I'm suspecting you might be one of those grammar bugs...would be correct with: "who don't know how to speak a word of english." But WTF is all this about? English class or being happy there is finally a jailbreak coming our way? I would assume that most people here don't have english as their Mother tongue...it doesen't look like it :-) Who cares? Hell YEAH finally a JB !!! Pod2g for president ;-)

Please do not release the jailbreak at this time, We waited this long ..I think most of use can wait few more days. Now Apple is going to holding on 6.1. They are going to find excuses thats not yet done!! Apple should be happy that they jaibroke the iPhone 5 ..the sales of the iPhone 5 is going to increase right now. I have already ordered my 64 GIG iPhone 5 online . I am about to order an Apple TV3 too. Thank you dev team Your re awesome.. I am ready to donate...

Should be 'to', not 'too', also you need a capital 'A' for Apple. You cant start a sentence with 'and', I won't bother correcting the last bit, I don't even understand it.
