Pod2g Urges Apple to Release iOS 6.1

Pod2g has chimed in to a series of tweets from jailbreak developers that suggests a publicly releasable jailbreak has been found but is just waiting for the release of iOS 6.1.

Yesterday, we reported that planetbeing had said, "Tons of progress the last few days. I think the future is looking bright for jailbreaking. :)"

Today, pod2g added, "Come on Apple. Release that 6.1 now! /cc @planetbeing @pimskeks @MuscleNerd"

This is the strongest evidence yet that the devs have found a jailbreak that can now be released to the public but are still waiting for the release of iOS 6.1 so as not to burn an exploit. There would be no point in releasing a jailbreak at this time for a firmware version that will be updated in just a few days.

What a relief! I don't know about you guys, but I have been a very loyal iPhone fan for many years. I own a phone and have even camped out for the 5. Was beginning to think it was time to go the Droid route ( may still) Apple seems to have lost track of who its real customers are. Building a new smaller cord... great! Encrypting it??? Cost me about a hundred bucks to have a cord at work a cord in the car and a travel cord. Congrats apple you finally figured out how to make it hard on the jail break community.... but guess what I won't be buying another phone from you until it is fully jail broken. Way to piss off a reluctant fan boy.... your move.

Pod2gay like Aplle gives two sh*ts about you cause if they did they would have offered you a job already like Comex... Anyway release of 6.1 now or later wouldnt the 6.2 or 6.1.1 close the so called JB you claiming to have??? Cause I remember since June 2012 you guys said you have already jailbroken 6.0 but waiting for release of it to unload the jb but guess what no jb seen.....

OK you douchebag, so what have you brought to the ios community, free of charge? at least Pod2g and the rest of the devs out there do something about the JB, so if you're here just to hassle people who do their research for you and asswipes alike, just bend over and be thankfull that online anal penetration is not yet possible, or i guarantee you that sodomy would be a word that you would have tatooed on your skinny ugly little friggin a-hole!
