Pod2g and Planetbeing Find Two New Vulnerabilities for iOS 6 Jailbreak

Pod2g and planetbeing have found two new vulnerabilities but are still missing the initial code execution for a public jailbreak release.

Yesterday we reported that pod2g and planetbeing had teamed up to do some work on the iOS 6 jailbreak. Early this morning pod2g revealed that they have found two new vulnerabilities in just a day.

Made some nice progress today with @pod2g. I think I'll try to reward myself with a nap. :)

pod2g: @planetbeing oh yeah! 2 new vulnerabilities in a day, chance was with us. But we still miss that initial code execution for a public jb :/

It's great that progress is being made. Hopefully, the two find that last piece of the puzzle and are able to release their jailbreak to rest of us.

fuck you guys who keep up the JB begging. Have you noticed that it isnt easy to do? They are trying to crack something that an ENTIRE development team spends months building and testing. These guys dont have it easy so cut them some slack and be patient. Or.. build you own damn jailbreak

If you knew anything about development and programming, you would watch your mouth. It can take hours or days to program something to accept names and put them in a table and repeat the process backwards. Then there are these guys, who take the time to find a way to bypass the Apple iOS filesystem and apply read-write access to the entire structure. Applying the files is easy, getting to them is the hard part. I wouldn't be surprised if it took them another month or two. Just be patient, it is tedious work and they don't need people like you whining about not having a jailbreak. We all want our jailbreak, but remember that they are fighting to find a solution for us.
