Razer has launched its new Thunderbolt 5 Dock Chroma, a high-performance hub that packs an integrated SSD enclosure and an expansive port selection into a single unit. The dock is built to support demanding workflows, from creative professionals managing large media files to gamers needing a clean, high-performance setup.
The hub joins a growing list of new accessories built around the latest standard, like the recently announced Anker Prime Thunderbolt 5 Dock. It pushes data speeds up to 120 Gb/s and includes three Thunderbolt 5 connections, Gigabit Ethernet, multiple USB-A and USB-C ports, and a UHS-II SD card slot.
A notable feature is the built-in M.2 slot, which lets users add up to 8TB of fast PCIe Gen4x4 SSD storage—a flexible option for professionals handling large files. It also delivers up to 140W of power, enough for demanding laptops like the MacBook Pro, and uses active cooling to keep things running smoothly.
The dock can drive up to three 4K displays at 144Hz or a single 8K monitor at 60Hz. It also supports Thunderbolt Share for controlling two PCs with one keyboard and mouse. As expected with Razer hardware, the aluminum body is outfitted with the company's Chroma RGB lighting for customizable effects.
Key Features ● Triple 4K Display Support: Connect up to three 4K monitors at 120Hz, or a single 8K display at 60Hz—great for editing timelines, running side-by-side apps, or immersive gaming. ● Next-Gen Thunderbolt 5 Speeds: Transfer data at up to 120Gb/s across supported devices using the latest Thunderbolt standard. ● Expandable Storage: Add up to 8TB of PCIe Gen4x4 SSD storage via the integrated M.2 slot—ideal for large video files, game libraries, or project backups. ● Built-In KVM Functionality: Use Thunderbolt Share to control two PCs with the same keyboard and mouse, and easily move files between them. ● All-in-One Connectivity: Includes 11 total ports—Thunderbolt, USB-A, USB-C, Ethernet, SD card, and audio—minimizing clutter and maximizing compatibility with both new and older gear. ● Power Delivery: Comes with a 250W adapter that delivers up to 140W to your laptop, enough to power even high-performance systems like the MacBook Pro.
The dock is available to purchase now for $399.99. You can find more details or place an order at the link below...
