Leaked Photos of 802.11ac 'Gigabit Wi-Fi' Card for Upcoming Macs?

Photos have surfaced allegedly showing the 802.11ac 'Gigabit Wi-Fi' card which will be used in upcoming Macs, reports tonymacx86.

TheLostSwede recently spotted what could possibly be Apple's next option for WLAN+Bluetooth connectivity. The images below show a Broadcom BCM94360CD PCI-E mini custom combo WLAN+Bluetooth card. More importantly, it looks like it supports IEEE 802.11ac; the next standard in wireless computer networking as well as a NGFF standard which is meant to improve area and Z-height, Layout, Interface support, and Flexibility. These standards help to reduce cost and design complexity.

The photos were found on VR-Zone and can be seen below.

Recently, references were found in the OS X 10.8.4 beta suggesting that upcoming Macs will support 802.11ac wireless networking. Apple is widely expected to unveil a minor spec bump to its MacBooks at WWDC which could be when the company intends to add 802.11ac to its devices.
