TMZ has posted photos that are allegedly of a leaked iPhone 6 smuggled out of a Foxconn factory in China.

The owner of the phone says the smuggler is his friend -- an ex-employee -- who worked in Foxconn's hardware department designing the outer casing for the new model. As for the inner workings -- we're told it's not running an authentic Apple IOS, which is SOP during the development stage for security purposes.

The device is said to be lighter and have a new sensor on the front.

Unfortunately, it's impossible to confirm the validity of these claims. The photos look just like recent mockups and leaks; however, we won't know what Apple has in-store until the officially unveiling expected on September 9th. Here are some more details on the rumored specifications of the device.
