Apple Stops Selling Fitbit Devices

As rumored, Apple has stopped selling Fitbit devices ahead of the Apple Watch.

Searching the Apple Store for Fitbit yields no results and the company's devices are being pulled from Apple retail stores as well. Notably, Fitbit had just announced new activity trackers including the Fitbit Charge, Fitbit Charge HR and Fitbit Surge with smart watch capabilities.

Fitbit’s previously commented on the news saying that the company still “looks forward to a robust holiday season as the connected health and fitness category continues its rapid growth.” They also note that that Fitbit is still sold in over 37,000 retail stores worldwide, including Amazon, Best Buy, Bloomingdales, Kohls, Target and Walmart.

This is the second time of late that Apple has removed a competitors products from its stores. Last month, it stopped selling Bose speakers, headphones, and other accessories in its online and retail stores.
